Our 20th Anniversary Production is here and it’s bigger than ever. We are bringing you 5 shows that will allow every single one of our dancers to shine on that stage. We create for you the closest possible experience to a professional show with local facilities available to use complete with professional sound, lights and 20 years of experience in creative direction.
Level 20 is curated around the idea of a computer game. You’ll be introduced to our characters, select one to play and be taken on an immersive journey through the levels of the M-Pulsive world until we reach Level 20- The Party Level, celebrating this momentous year.
We make sure that every dancer is showcased to the best of their ability. Every class will have two performance pieces with the exception of our acro classes who perform once. Most of our acro dancers take acro in addition to another style so this maximises their stage time. Acro is a skills based class and if we stop skills training to put together two choreographies, the dancers’ progression would be hampered. Acro dancers who only take one class just now are more than welcome to add a class this term if they’d like to increase their capacity in performance

How Do We Sign Up?
We automatically sign each and every dancer up for this incredible opportunity to make it easy for you and to make sure your dancer doesn’t miss out. If you are unable to attend show weekend please OPT OUT before 28th Feb in order to not be charged. Opt outs are accepted by email with name, reason for opting out and classes attended to admin@mpulsivedance.com. Please subject line your message “Show Opt Out”

Anyone in cross age classes that span over two shows will be sorted and contacted on an individual basis.
On 2nd March we will create cast lists on class4kids and you will receive an invoicecovering your participation fee.
Participation Fee
A participation fee is in place to cover costs associated with putting on a production of such scale as well as to keep costuming for the evening shows spectacular, whilst affordable and stress free for you. Show weekend shapes up to cost around £30k and we couldn’t offer such an incredible experience for our dancers without this fee. We know from years of experience in this industry, that children gain not only the physical items listed in the show fee, but also the opportunity to gain confidence, feel incredible and make memories they keep forever. One pupil last year told us that show weekend was “better than Christmas!"

Other costs associated with show that vary per family...

- Footwear, tights, shorts and basic costume items as required by specific classes taken (Approx £30-40)
COSTUMES
For evening shows we hire and purchase costumes to make our classes feel and look amazing. The cost of this is, for you, covered in your participation fee. It would not be practical however for us to provide shoes, undergarments or basics such as shorts, leggings, joggers etc. By the Easter holidays each class will be outlined with the basics they should provide. We keep these as simple and budget friendly as possible and usually with the encouragement and ability to borrow and get second hand.
For the matinee shows the dancers will wear their show t-shirt for the duration plus their own shorts in a specified colour nearer the time. They will borrow props and additional costume items to add to the creative of their dances.
BACKSTAGE PASSES/ PERFORMER RIBBONS
For logistics backstage in our evening casts, and seamless-ness in our matinee shows we use a colour coding system for performers. This year we will be providing each dancer with the colour coded bits they need as part of their pack. Matinee dancers will get a ribbon per class they take, evening dancers will have their backstage colour and class codes noted on their 'Player Profile' Lanyards
PAYMENT PLAN
For the first time this year you can choose to sign up for a payment plan to spread the cost of show.
** PROFESSIONAL SHOW LINK Each show is professionally recorded in HD and edited to provide you with a full recording of the show your dancer is part of. Closed links to these will be sent out in around August. This method of filming has replaced DVD/ USBs and gives you all the opportunity to relive show memories with your dancer and save forever.

TICKETS
Tickets are often like gold dust for these performances. Family and friends LOVE coming to watch the array of talent on show and getting a glimpse of that star they love shining on stage.
Tickets will be available at TicketSource.co.uk/mpulsivedance from Sat 2nd May, 9am.
Tickets for Matinee Performances will be restricted for the first two weeks of sale based on the number of dancers taking part, in order to ensure every dancer gets a parent in watching them.
Evening shows are first come, first served.
When you purchase your tickets triple check your email address as your e-tickets will be delivered here automatically. Please check your junk at time of purchase to find these and download your tickets. Entry is by ticket with QR code, not simply your payment receipt
Backstage Chaperones
With around 150 kids backstage each night we could not run these without an incredible backstage army. Our staff and show team will be in charge of running and coordinating, but we need parents willing to be involved in the backstage excitement to help costume change, toilet run and head count through the show. For the matinee shows, these volunteers will get to watch the show from a seat next to their group. Our senior dancers will do all toilet runs and stage prep- our volunteers are simply on hand as eyes and safe hands should we need them.
To sign up for one of these roles simply grab a backstage pass from our show portal. Please note- weekend evening volunteers will not get access to watch any of the show due to backstage logistics. Thursday helpers can watch their own group from the back of the hall.
