TERMS & CONDITIONS
Updated May 2026
On registering with M-Pulsive Dance School and Tots&Tinies there are a few terms and
conditions that we ask members to adhere to in order for our school to run efficiently.
PAYMENTS: After your trial and settling payment, you are entering into a monthly rolling
subscription as an active member with a 3 month minimum commitment. All
memberships are subject to an annual membership fee (£25 2026-27) plus monthly subs
per class taken.
Membership is by pro rated MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION after annual membership fee. Our
billing is structured to make it easier for you by spreading the total cost of a year’s worth of
classes over 11 equal monthly payments. This way, rather than paying a different amount each
month depending on the number of classes in that period, you can enjoy a predictable, even
payment schedule throughout the year. monthly payment is a portion of the full year’s cost, not a
payment for that specific month alone. This means that even when notice to cancel is given, the
final payment contributes to the total balance due for the entire year of classes, not just for one
month’s worth. This allows us to ensure classes are consistently available for you over the full
year.
>> Fees will be collected by Stripe recurring card payment set up on booking via Pebble on the
1st of each month from August. Failed payments will automatically be retried, and you’ll be
notified by the system Late payments will incur a 10% late fee. If your account is in arrears after one month your child may be asked to give up their place.
Rolling subscriptions may not apply to every activity booked in this way. i.e Babytime blocks, holiday
camps, one off workshops, adult classes. These are payable in either block/ individual ticket basis. If you
require further clarification on if you’ll be entering a rolling subscription please contact
admin@mpulsivedance.com with details of your booking
CANCELLATION
Membership cancellation is by one months notice.
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing by the 20th of a month to
admin@mpulsivedance.com. You will be asked to complete an offboarding form. Completion
of this form will confirm your cancellation and we will stop your recurring payments
If your cancellation reaches us after the 20th of a month, that next month's payment will be due.
We appreciate that circumstances change but our policy is in place to allow us to make
arrangements to fill the space, make changes where required and protect our commitments to
staff, suppliers and contracts. We simply ask for advance notice of your withdrawal to help usgrace change.
OTHER
Children not registered via our online Pebble booking system will not be allowed to participate in
class. Our subscription classes run in line with Scottish Borders Council school holidays (with the
exception of us being open on inservice and most bank holidays)
Your enrolment is for one academic year so will automatically continue to run each term until
the end of the academic year- June. If you wish to cancel your place even at the end of a term,
the cancellation notice is required as above. At the end of June each year you are required to
complete re-registration for the following academic year.
As a member of our main school attending classes weekly aged 3-18, we have opportunities to
perform throughout the year. For our main shows and productions (Acrofest, Senior Showcase,
Summer Production) eligible children will automatically enrolled and billed for these. We operate
an opt-out system to ensure children don’t miss out on these opportunities. Look out for
deadlines on the info packs regarding these.
Refunds will not be given for missed or unused classes.
In the event that we have to cancel a class due to staff illness or unavailability we will provide a
make up class. In the event of class cancellations due to inclement weather or other unforeseen
circumstances beyond our control, no refunds will be issued. However, we will make reasonable
efforts to provide alternative arrangements when possible.
We endeavour to provide a safe and secure space for your children to dance. Please help us to
enhance this by providing your child with water to bring to class and ensuring they have been to
the toilet before class.
Uniform, as outlined in the class descriptions is essential. Each dance genre requires specific
kit and footwear. Sandals, boots, crocs and skirts are not appropriate for any class or any age.
Children should be dropped off no more than 5 minutes before class and collected promptly
at the end.
M-Pulsive Dance School does not discriminate on background, race, gender or religion.
Classes are most usually divided based on age but under some circumstance it is necessary to
only allow dancers who comply with pre-requisites. This is to ensure safe and effective
progression. The team also hold the right to move children into the class which they feels is
most appropriate.Photography within the studio space is prohibited by parents or pupils unless granted
permission by the class teacher.
M-Pulsive Dance School is all inclusive and will not tolerate bullying towards other members,
peers or staff. We reserve the right to ask any children/ families to leave the school based on a
breach of this.
By the nature of dance it is often necessary for teachers to use physical contact when helping to
improve students’ posture or assist in movements. This includes contact between students and
holding hands
